    This is a great book, I wish I had read something like this 10 years ago! Bob writes in a personal style that makes this easy to read yet informative. He shares alot of real life examples and personal anecdotes throughout the book and provides lots of links to resources to delve even deeper into the ins and outs of a career in music. Seriously the money you will save from reading this book by not making mistakes that alot of us do will pay for the book 100 times over!

    Bob has hit a home run with this book. As an indie artist and sole proprietor of my own music publishing company and "label", I wish I had this book when I started out on my forays into this world. It would have saved me a heck of a lot of time, money and efforts spent in the wrong places. "A Career In Music" is a true compass for Canadian musicians to get their bearings straight and on the path towards establishing a REAL career in the music industry. Thanks Bob, a lot of people have been waiting a long time for this one!

    Bob D'Eith has singlehandedly written the 'go-to' book for ANYONE in the Music Industry (especially Canada). His insights are easy to read and the links (in iBooks) to what he is talking about make it so easy to cross reference. Then there is the 'Appendices'!!! This is THE music industry bible of 2013.
