    As a retired powerplant mechanic with a technical education and an atheist conviction I could not comprehend fully Mr. Krauss' demonstration. But, this book has been the clearest text I have read that explains the, almost, incomprehensible universe and our, except to ourselves, insignificant place and role in it. Mr. Krauss, has helped me understand our universe as Will Durant had done in my youth to understand the history of human civilization. This is the kind of books that should be mandatory in our high schools. G. Viger
