    Understand the man that some people labelled arrogant and egotistical. There is no denying the impact Dave Mustaine has and continues to have on the world of metal. At times an easy target for the media to impose their generally one sided opinion of, with his violent and angry outbursts towards the music industry and past and present band members. In this book Dave opens up the door and allows the reader to experience the turns in his life that have led him to where he is today. With God's grace he has been able to take a moment, to appreciate how blessed he truly is. Keep it up Dave.....

    I love this book! You know that phrase "sometimes truth is stranger than fiction"? Well that phrase is true when it comes to this book. If you are a fan of thrash metal or Megadeth, then this is a must read for sure. Through this book we really get to hear dave's side of the story on many topics including his infamous firing from Metallica. You will not be able to put this book down!

    If you grew up banging your head to Thrash, you will love this book. The Founding Father of Thrash enlightens the reader about the early bands and their connectedness. Also, this book outlines the history of Megadeth and Dave's complicated relationship to the music business. Great Book!

    Ok, I've read a few memoirs on rockers before this one and i can truly say without prejudice that it was one I couldn't put down. I want to also say the author has an unrelenting spirit and passion for his craft. A great rock n roll ride!

    Its always nice to see so much honesty written. Yes, its one side of the coin but after reading the whole book I really got to see all the demons that Dave had and still has. Its a nice perspective on the business from both the positive and many negative sides. I found that the book is well written and well laid out. I love biographies and have read so many rock biographies that it isnt even funny. If you like hard rock or metal, read this book, you'll have a hard time putting it down. Definitely worth the price. I wish Dave, Pam the best and also their children. -Ken
